Police released a sketch Tuesday in hopes of finding the driver who killed an 11-year-old girl in Newark.
Police say Kaitlyn Velez was killed two weeks ago when she was crossing Elm Street to get ice cream. According to witnesses, a van struck Velez and fled the scene.
An unidentified witness recently gave police a description of the driver of the van. Velez?s family hopes the sketch will help police bring her killer to justice.
Police are also offering a $3,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest.
