A North Jersey community come together to bring some holiday cheer for 2 sisters who have lost both of their parents.
The Guardians of the Ribbon brought a pink fire truck to bring gifts to Jayla and Evie who lost their mother just a month ago. Their father also died a few years ago.
Both girls are now living with their aunt, Amy Wright in Boonton.
“Even though my sister just passed four weeks ago today and Christmas is just two days away, this gives us hope that not only was she loved, but so were the girls,” says Wright. “It makes it a little bit easier knowing that we have so many people here for us."
A GoFundMe has been set up for the girls and so far has reached about $5,000.
