Freezing temperatures made a return to New Jersey after several weeks of above-average conditions.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that temperatures for Friday were below-average in the upper-30s, with temperatures expected to dip into the teens overnight. Curren says that these will be the coldest temperatures of 2020 so far.
Friday saw mostly clear skies, which will continue into the overnight hours. Overnight lows are expected to be in the teens and single digits, so be sure to dress accordingly.
Saturday will see highs in the mid-30s under mostly sunny skies. Curren says that wind conditions for Saturday are expected to be low, so wind chills are not expected to be a factor.
Temperatures begin to warm up again for Sunday with highs in the upper-40s under partly sunny skies.
Temperatures continue to warm through the week, with rain showers possible for the middle of the week.
