Co-workers of an environmental consultant from Trenton are worried after he disappeared on a hiking trip in the Caribbean.

Joel Gove was last seen on the Dutch island of Saba in the Netherland Antilles in late December. Gove left on Christmas Day to stay at the edge of a town called Windwardside. Another hiker saw Gove on December 28 on the North Coast Trail. Co-workers say he was supposed to be back December 30.

Co-workers say Gove never got lost. They add that he is trained in handling the environment and its dangers. Meanwhile, family and friends have gone to the island to help authorities search for Gove.
