An unarmed Russian Air Force jet flew over President Donald Trump's golf course in Bedminster Wednesday evening, according to a
report from CNN.
The jet apparently also flew over several other locations, including the U.S. Capitol Building, the Pentagon, the CIA and Joint Base Andrews.
Time Inc. White House correspondent Zeke Miller tweeted a map of the plane’s path as it flew over Bedminster.
The flyover is allowed as part of the Open Skies Treaty of 2002. The treaty allows the United States, Russia and 30 other countries to fly, unarmed, over each other’s territories.
News 12 New Jersey was told that U.S. Air Force personnel were on that flight and that the aircraft is capable of a variety of intelligence gathering.
