A gas station attendant is clinging to life after being shot in the face in Clifton Sunday night.
The attendant is a worker at the Exxon Station on westbound Route 46 near Valley Road. Police say two suspects, a man and a woman, shot him around 10 p.m.
Two teenagers pulled into the station minutes after the shooting and were robbed at gunpoint by the two suspects, authorities say. The teens pulled into the station and were offering help to the injured man when they were held up.
Detectives are looking for a heavy-set woman about 5'2". She was accompanied by a Middle Eastern man about 6'2". The two were speaking in a foreign language.
