Cleanup efforts have begun at the site of a massive fire at an old factory on Sykes Lane in the Williamstown section of Monroe Township, Gloucester County.
The fire sparked Thursday night and brought fire departments from many surrounding towns and counties to help fight it.
Officials said that ash and debris from the fire landed on the properties of some nearby residents. Officials say the material is not hazardous, but homeowners should wear gloves while removing the debris.
Rain on Saturday is expected to wash the ash away, officials said.
Officials say that there is no cause for concern.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
