Paterson issued a flood evacuation Tuesday night for residents who live in several areas around the city.
Officials said many of Paterson's residents could be affected when the Passaic River crests on April 18 between midnight and 7 a.m. The city has set up shelters for evacuated residents. It also has buses and vans available for residents who need to get to the shelters.
