Gay and Lesbian churchgoers in New Jersey speak out about the prospect of same-sex marriage.On Tuesday, the state Supreme Court ruled lawmakers must decide whether to honor gay marriage or some other form of a civil union in New Jersey. Same-sex couples at Unity Fellowship Church in New Brunswick say the ruling is a step in the right direction. However, they say they have learned to be cautious about building up their hopes.The New Jersey Legislature will vote on same-sex marriage in the next several months. Some Unity Fellowship congregants, 80 percent of whom are gay, say to some degree, their prayers have been answered.
