An 8-year-old Gloucester County boy’s Christmas wish to help sick children has come true.
Michael Bell of Deptford has a genetic condition that can cause tumors. He was recently at a Philadelphia hospital for a routine MRI and saw other sick children there.
The boy told Santa Claus about his Christmas wish to help kids with cancer.
Word of the wish spread and the community was able to raise money for the boy, which he received Christmas morning.
Bell and his family will now donate $1,200 to pediatric brain cancer research.
