Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican challenger Chris Christie are butting heads over new state deficit figures from the Office of Legislative Services.
The data estimates New Jersey could be more than $10 billion short of its budget next year.
Christie is accusing Corzine of mismanaging the state's coffers. Corzine calls the comments laughable and says New Jersey would be deeper in the hole under Christie.
