If the winter gear is not out yet, you're certainly going to want to get the coats, sweaters and scarves out now! Old man winter is trying to sneak his way into the forecast a bit earlier than normal. Temperatures are forecast to be a few degrees cooler than your typical late October. Afternoon highs this Saturday are forecast to be in the upper 50s. A mix of sun and clouds is expected so no rain cancellations for pumpkin patch outings or football games. The weekend is forecast to finish similarly with Sunday's weather just about the same. The day is expected to start with some patchy fog and temperatures in the 40s with afternoon highs again around the mid 50s. The workweek is starting off very cold with highs barely getting out of the mid 50s. High pressure exits the region Monday as an area of low-pressure travels across the Southeast and exits the mid-Atlantic around the midweek. This low will increase rain chances starting Tuesday and continuing through the end of the week.
TODAY: Highs in the mid to upper 50s. Mix of sun and clouds.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with patchy fog. Lows in the upper 40s.
SUNDAY: Similar to Saturday. Highs in the upper 50s. Mix of sun and clouds.
MONDAY: More clouds. Highs in the low to mid 50s.
