Cherry Hill police say a suspect is wanted for robbing a woman before trying to kidnap her Friday night.

It happened at the Plaza Grande Apartments. The victim says she had just gotten home and was walking in her building's lobby when a man followed her into the elevator.

He allegedly pulled a gun out, robbed her and forced her outside the building. She says after a struggle, she was able to get back inside.

The suspect fled. Anyone with information should contact police.
