"We gave out Saturday and Sunday maybe at least 50 bags through the front door just for curbside," says store manager Mark Stoetzer.
The craft store chain is asking the community to help sew fabric masks for health care workers. All the material is donated by the company, and the masks will then be given to local hospitals as another layer of protection.

"The stuff we’re using is used in the industry and recommended,” says Stoetzer. “These masks go on top of the disposable medical masks that they're using at the hospitals, and it's mainly for that."
The store is opening up its classroom under strict social distancing and cleaning protocols to allow people to use its sewing machines.
