A $6.3 million Pick-6 ticket was sold last week at a liquor store in Essex County.
According to state lottery officials, the jackpot-winning ticket for Thursday's drawing was sold at White Oak Liquors at 418 Union Ave. in Belleville.
The winning numbers were: 16, 19, 28, 38, 45 and 49. The XTRA Multiplier was: 4.
If the winner choses the cash option, the prize, after taxes, comes out to around $4.8 million.
It’s the first time a player hit the Pick-6 jackpot since September, when a $9.5 million ticket was sold at the Pilot Travel Center on Doremus Avenue in Newark, which is across from the Essex County jail.
