A Centereach man pleaded guilty Friday to killing a teenager and then burying his remains in his neighbor's yard.
John Mann IV, 20, admitted to beating the homeless Hempstead teen to death in 2019.
He lured 16-year-old Henry Hernandez to a hidden place, duct taped him and then fatally struck him.
The defendant later dug up the skeletal remains and put them in his neighbor's yard nearly a year later.
Mann is expected to be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
