In celebration of National Sandwich Day, some national sandwich chains will be offering freebies Friday throughout New Jersey.
Jersey's own Jersey Mike's Subs is teaming up with UberEATS to deliver free subs in five locations: Rochelle Park, East Brunswick, Edison, Spotswood and Union.
To snag the free sandwich, go to the UberEATS app and pick a sub from the Jersey Mike's menu. The offer begins at noon and runs until the sandwiches sell out.
Not near one of those locations? There are plenty of other opportunities to potentially get a free lunch.
All Subway locations are offering a buy-one, get one free deal. Customers must buy a sandwich and a 30-ounce beverage in order to get a sandwich of equal or lesser value.
QuickChek also has a buy one, get one free deal Friday. To receive the free sandwich, customers must buy a six-inch sub and download the convenience store's mobile app.
Jersey City and Paramus residents can take advantage of a buy one, get one free pastrami sandwich offer at Potbelly Sandwich Shop.
Those near one of New Jersey's four Firehouse Subs locations (Florham Park, Wayne, Lawrenceville and Totowa) can receive a coupon for a free drink and chips by ordering a Hook and Ladder sandwich.
While it’s no freebie, all Quiznos locations are offering their eight-inch Classic Italian for $5. Quiznos has New Jersey locations in South Amboy and two stores in Trenton.
