The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a polio-like illness affecting children.
According to the CDC, 155 cases of what's known as Acute Flaccid Myelitis, a neurological disease that can cause paralysis, have been reported.
At least three of those cases are in New Jersey.
The disease affects the spinal cord and can cause paralysis and occurs mostly in children under 18.
The average age is just 4 years old.
