The travel industry received new COVID guidelines on Thursday.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that cruise ships can set sail under three different tiers.
These tiers include vaccination standard of excellence with at least 95% of passengers and crew fully vaccinated and boosted; highly vaccinated, the same percentage without the booster; or with a vaccination rate of less than 95%.
Cruise lines have until Feb. 18 to opt in.
