The owner of a Paterson hobby shop says he is out thousands of dollars after a burglary.
Shadow Hobbies on First Avenue was burglarized Wednesday night.
Police say the thief got away with 18 units of merchandize, plus electronics, cash and two cash registers. The items stolen were worth thousands of dollars.
The theft was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras. The thief is seen loading a hand truck multiple times with items from inside the store. He is then seen loading those items into a vehicle.
The suspect was in the shop for about an hour, according to the timestamps on the security footage.
Police say that they believe that the suspect is a customer of the store or had visited recently. They believe he drove 2000 two-door black Dodge Dakota with silver or gold rims.
