Isaias proved to be a real showstopper for a theater on Long Beach Island.
The storm ripped apart the tent and set of "Mamma Mia" at the Surflight Theatre.
Cast and crew members pitched in to help fix the stage while they wait for a new tent to be installed.
"The stakes were getting pulled out sort of one by one and then it was billowing up and down up and down and then finally it ripped in one place and then another and the whole thing came down," says Steven Steiner, producing artistic director of the Surflight Theatre.
The nonprofit in Beach Haven is holding socially distanced shows under a ventilated tent since its main theater cant reopen due to COVID-19.
One the replacement tent is up and power is restored, Surflight plans to begin its run of "Mamma Mia."
