School officials are scrambling to disinfect a Newark day care after children were diagnosed with Scarlet Fever.A letter went out to parents of children at the Tri City People?s Corporation Day Care Center Wednesday explaining their children may have been exposed. School officials explained the letter came after two children were diagnosed with the disease. The letter went on to warn parents to watch for symptoms including fever, skin rash, vomiting and sore throat. The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has not found the original source of the infection. However, school officials suspect a child may have been infected by a visiting relative from overseas. Officials say any child diagnosed with Scarlet Fever won't be allowed back in the building without a doctor?s note.
