A Wendy's restaurant along Route 4 in Paramus is badly damaged and two patrons were injured after two vehicles crashed through the fast-food restaurant's wall.
The crash happened Thursday just before 5 p.m. Paramus police say that a red Toyota trying to go to the Wendy's cut off a minivan, sending both vehicles crashing through a large window in the restaurant.
The drivers were not hurt, but two patrons inside were taken to the hospital for arm injuries. Police say that their injuries were not serious.
The driver of the Toyota was issued a summons for careless driving.
This is the second recent time that a car has crashed into this Wendy's. About two months ago, the driver of an SUV lost control and crashed through the window. Two people inside the Wendy's were hurt in that incident.
