A northern New Jersey man is recovering after he was struck by a car that drove through a fence and into his backyard, Sunday.
The accident was caught on the family's surveillance system. The video shows the Ceballos family and friends outside playing in the backyard of their home just off Route 46 in Lodi. Suddenly, a car comes crashing through the fence and strikes Greg Ceballos, who was sitting on the wall behind the fence.
Several other people in the backyard, including some children, were barely able to get out of the way in time.
"It was scary," says family member Jose Mejia. "We saw [Greg] under the car."
Ceballos fractured his back and is recovering in the hospital. He is expected to be OK.
The driver was given a field sobriety test by police on scene. He was arrested a short time later; however, police have not confirmed what charges he may face.
