Cape May is a quaint old town known as the "Bed and Breakfast Capital of the World" and for good reason. The town is home to approximately 70 bed and breakfasts. Visitors prefer the charm of a good B&B as opposed to the "cookie cutter" style of hotel chains. It affords them the opportunity to learn some of the history of the town. With Cape May being a common vacation spot for families, it's no wonder why they make themselves at home in a cozy B&B.
The beach and shopping strip are a big part of the attraction to Cape May. Patrons walk carefree on the shopping streets that are closed to all traffic. Families can shop and dine comfortably amongst the various stores and restaurants. A popular food attraction is Hot Dog Tommy's who has been serving great hot dogs and "bad jokes" for years. The wait for their delicious dog can be up to 30 minutes, but we've been told that everything on the menu is well worth the wait.
