A bus driver and aide with the North Bergen School District have been accused of leaving a preschooler locked inside a vehicle.
The incident happened earlier this month.
According to police, Agustin Vargas and Irma Montalvo failed to check the bus before the end of their shifts.
Police say another driver found the child at the bus yard when she started her shift.
Both Vargas and Montalvo are charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
