Bronx residents took to City Hall Thursday to protest budget cuts being proposed by Gov. David Paterson.
Community organizations, nonprofits and labor unions came together to argue that planned cuts to education, health care and social services will have a disastrous impact on the Bronx.
On Thursday, Paterson announced he will take a 10 percent pay cut with the state facing a $14 billion budget deficit.
"I will symbolically make the gesture for the state. I'm the governor, I'm the leader of the state," Paterson said.
