The mayor of Brick Township says at least 29 homes have been damaged in the town as result of a large brush fire that ignited at Lakewood Airport Sunday morning.
Mayor John Ducey says three of those 29 homes are uninhabitable.
Hundreds of residents were evacuated and put up in a local elementary schools to
keep them safe from the fire.
