A Brick Township man who pled guilty to desecrating human remains has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

Jared Krysiak was among three people charged in connection to the death of Kerry Rollason.

The trio were accused of helping Maxwell Johnston dispose of Rollason’s body.

Johnston was suspected of killing Rollason and one other person.

He fatally shot himself during a standoff with police at a home in Toms River last July.
