The Kmart in Avenel will be closing on April 16.

Once this location closes, there will only be one Kmart left in New Jersey, located in Westwood. There will also only be three left in the continental United States.

News 12’s Brian Donohue visited the Avenel Kmart on one of its last days to reminisce about how popular the retail chain used to be.
