? Family members are mourning a 6-year-old boy who was killed in a fire in Newark Saturday.

The boy?s great grandmother says she is overwhelmed at the thought of only having three great grandchildren now. Firefighters say the boy?s mother and grandmother tried, but were unable to save him from the second floor of the home on Ridgewood Avenue. The grandmother is being treated at University Hospital for burns she received trying to reach the boy.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
