Police charged a Bound Brook woman with filing a false police report about an alleged attempted abduction.

Officers say Nancy Tkatschenko, 45, claimed a man tried to lure her into his car. After finding and questioning a suspect that matched her description, investigators determined Tkatschenko's allegations were false.

Tkatschenko then confessed that the alleged suspect never touched her or attempted to abduct her.
