Jersey Buzz: Boney James brings his tour to Morristown; Garden State Film Festival to screen Bob Saget’s final film

In Friday’s Buzz…The Garden State Film Festival kicks off March 21, and Boney James will bring his smooth jazz to Morristown.

Bob Saget’s final film will screen at Garden State Film Festival

Bob Saget’s final film before his death "Daniel's Gotta Die" is one of the dozens of movies you can choose to see in the Garden State Film Festival that takes place from Thursday, March 23 to Sunday, March 26. The festival will open with a gala cocktail party at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park. The first movie screening is "The Baker" starring Ron Perlman and Harvey Keitel. The movies will be shown across nine venues in Asbury Park, Ocean Grove and Cranford. Screening times vary. The event will also include meet and greets with stars and filmmakers. Sax player Boney James releases album 'Detour'

As you make plans this spring and if you love smooth jazz, Grammy Award-nominated saxophone player Boney James releases new music on his album "Detour." It's the 18th album from the musician and 12 of them made it onto Billboard's contemporary jazz album chart. James will bring his tour to the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown on Saturday, April 8 at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $29.
