A boil water advisory remains in effect this morning for people living near Madison and 7th streets in Hoboken.
A contractor struck a water line on Monday, causing the work are to be floodedand some water reaching the roadway.
This morning, however, the construction site is dry, and the roads have reopened to traffic.
However, the boil water advisory remains in place for those from Adams Street West between Sixth and 10th streets.
This includes those living up to the western border on both sides of the street.
According to Chris Halloran at Veolia, the broken main at the construction site was repaired last night and service restored, however, a localized boil water advisory remains in effect for the area surrounding that site.
Veolia is currently collecting samples for water quality testing. These tests take a minimum of 24 hours.
