The boil water advisory issued in Hoboken on Sept. 9 has been lifted.

Residents were previously told to boil tap water after pressure loss during emergency water main break repairs raised concerns about possible contamination.

Officials now say the water is safe to drink, but residents are advised to flush their taps.
