Authorities have identified a man found dead in Sea Isle City as the swimmer who went missing from an Ocean City beach on May 18, police said.
According to the Ocean City Police Department, several agencies responded on June 19 to the area of 72nd Street in Sea Isle City after a deceased male was discovered.

Following an investigation by the involved agencies and the medical examiner's office, the man was positively identified as the swimmer who disappeared at the 10th Street Beach in Ocean City on May 18.
Police said the man's family has been notified and requested privacy. No additional information was released.
