Body cam footage was captured of a deadly police shooting in Long Branch that shows a man shoot at police while holding a baby.
The incident happened last month, but the police body cam video was released Wednesday.
Prosecutors say as they tried to execute a search warrant, Mark Walker II shot a detective in the leg. He then barricaded himself inside with a baby. Hours later, a fire broke out in the apartment.
Prosecutors say Walker ran from the building with the baby in his arms and began shooting at police.
Officers returned fire, striking Walker. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The baby was not physically hurt.
