3h agoHarper's Cafe in West Orange, recently featured as a part of News 12’s Coffee Tour, is looking to expand.
News 12 New Jersey’s Tony Caputo featured the java shop as a part of his Coffee Tour and talked to owner Garan Dickson about his Black-owned business.
Dickson says he garnered his passion while working security and finding topflight coffee for his clients. He opened his own shop on South Valley Road in 2019 and named it after his daughter. The business overcame COVID with unique ideas such as a privacy gondola.
Garan is also looking ahead to opening an ice cream business called Soli Dairy.
