Outdoor dining is a lifeline for the restaurant business this year, but the bitter cold temperatures and gusty winds are making it difficult.
Outdoor dining is all small businesses in the Maplewood Village, and restaurant owners say they're doing all they can this winter. 
“With the heat, you make it as comfortable as you can,” says Anthony Pino, owner of Anthony David's & Bin. “From forced air heaters to propane to stand up heaters, we ordered more. Winter is only half over and we are still getting more requests for outdoor dining. "
