FORECAST:
The quick-moving clipper that brought rain and even some wet elevation snow will move out tonight, and it will be replaced with another bitter blast of cold air. Temperatures will fall back to near freezing for the morning.
The gusty winds will dry us out overnight and into the morning, but if there is anything still wet, it can turn icy.
Temperatures will stay cold and in the lower 30s all day long. With winds gusting up to 40 mph, it will feel more like the lower 20s during the afternoon. It will get quite cold heading into Friday morning, and that's when wind chills will feel like the single digits and lower teens.
The winds will eventually subside for Saturday, and it won't feel as cold, but that won't last too long. Another shot of colder air arrives Sunday, and there is a chance we may see some snow with this. This cold snap will linger into early next week before those 40 degree temperatures once again try to make a comeback.
