A South Jersey man was sentenced to life in prison for brutally murdering his aunt with a hatchet.
Shane Whipple, 29, was staying with his aunt at her Berlin apartment before she called police in January 2019 because of his violent behavior.
Prosecutors say he came back the next day and killed her.
