A beloved Baird tapir named Tonka has died at the Bergen County Zoo at age 25.
He surpassed the average lifespan by more than five years, zoo officials said.
To honor him, the zoo will sell $1 Baird tapir stickers, with proceeds benefiting the Tapir Specialist Group conservation organization.
