A Bergen County boy was named "Bergen County Sheriff" for the day as part of a special law enforcement program.
Justin Pagan has a muscular disorder and had to undergo surgery twice in the last week. He and dozens of other Bergen County children participated in the "Chief for a Day" program.
Pagan was chosen to be sheriff and even received a specially made police cruiser.
"If we can make one day like this happy and memorable for them, it's all good stuff," says Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino.
Pagan says that the police cruiser was his favorite part of the day.
Twenty-six other Bergen County municipalities participated in the program.
