The power is back on in Bayonne this morning after it was out last night for a couple of hours.
According to officials, a blown transformer on the corner of Andrew Street and JFK Boulevard was the cause of the outage.
Families were left in the dark and residents who are early risers were pretty nervous.
"The thing is I get up at three in the morning so to get home now and see this I'm not too happy about that," says Eliel Reyes.
PSEG responded quickly and had the power back on for families by 9 p.m.
