The Bayonne Bridge is now closed for construction work.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the Bayonne Bridge will be closed Friday night through Monday morning for construction work.
The closure began at 9 pm. Friday and will last through 5 a.m. Monday, according to the Port Authority.
The agency says the bridge's season shuttle has ended service for year. Shuttles will resume May 1, 2016.
