The ballot for next week's gubernatorial election may pose a hurdle for Chris Daggett, the Independent candidate.
Daggett has argued that Democrats and Republicans stack the deck against Independents in New Jersey, including where they appear on the ballot. Every county's ballot is different, but the two major parties guarantee their candidates are in the first two spots.
"Obviously when you look at these things, you really have to pay attention and read each one," says Tisha Eaton, who plans to vote in next week's election. "Or else you're going to wind up voting for somebody that you have no intention of voting for."
