Authorities: Men were transporting $28.3M worth of marijuana in truck hauling oranges

Two men are facing charges after police found more than $28 million worth of marijuana in a tractor-trailer hauling oranges.
Officials say the discovery happened on March 12 at an Interstate 78 weigh station in Warren County. They say that there were pallets of oranges on the truck, but there were also more than 6,200 pounds of marijuana.
Officials say the truck came from California and was heading to Long Island City, New York.
Ruben Rodriguez, 53, and Jose Santa Cruz Cheno, 59, of Hermosillo, Mexico were arrested and charged with marijuana possession and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. They are being held at the Warren County Jail.
Officials say that both men were properly documented and legally in the country.
