Authorities have charged a man from Union with vehicular homicide in a hit-and-run crash that left an Ohio man dead.
According to the Essex County prosecutor, 30-year-old Jarell Patterson struck 43-year-old Ray Horace, of Youngstown, Ohio, as Horace exited his parked vehicle Saturday in Newark.
Authorities say Patterson kept driving and was eventually stopped by Hillside police.
