Chance of rain doesn't stop thousands of music lovers to rush to Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park

The threat of rain didn't keep music fans away from Sea.Hear.Now on Sunday, as thousands packed the beach and boardwalk in Asbury Park for one of New Jersey's biggest music festivals.
Festivalgoers experienced only a brief sprinkle of rain earlier in the day, but many said they weren't worried about the forecast anyway.
"I go to Sea.Hear.Now every year. If I don't go, it's almost like that fear of missing out kind of thing," said Zack Ivins, of Asbury Park. "I do love watching our little city by the sea become the monster that it is today, the wonderful thing that it is today."
Some guests said they've returned every year since the festival debuted in 2018.
"Every year is better than the previous year," said one long-time attendee.
Others were experiencing the festival for the first time. One first-time attendee told News 12 their ticket came as a surprise gift just a day earlier.
"Playing music on the street, street performing and some lady walked by and dropped this in my bucket," they said, pointing to their entry wristband.
