A car crashed into a home in Westfield Monday afternoon.
The Westfield Fire Department was called to North Avenue and Tuttle Parkway just before 3:30 p.m. for the incident. The home was evacuated as a precaution.
Officials say the home was badly damaged, particularly to the foundation and floor joists. They say that one area of the home was in danger of collapse.
“The incident required extreme shoring measures,” officials wrote on Facebook.
No injuries were reported.
